Job Overview

We are seeking a Financial Controller / Operations Finance Analyst to support financial management, reporting, and operational decision-making. This is a hands-on role focused on budgeting, financial reporting, job costing, and financial analysis, with a strong connection between finance and day-to-day business operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports including profit & loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Perform job costing and track profitability across services and projects
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Maintain structured financial records and reporting systems in QuickBooks
• Manage reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Process and organize invoices, vendor payments, and expense categorization
• Collaborate with operations teams to align financial and operational data
• Work within ServiceTitan (or similar systems) to support operational workflows
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve business performance

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Strong background in accounting, finance, or business operations (CPA or equivalent experience preferred)
• Experience with ServiceTitan highly preferred
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks
• Experience with job costing and service-based business financials
• Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar operational platforms (or ability to learn quickly)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills for presenting financial insights
