Role Description
The Financial Controller is a full-time, on-site role based in Cebu. This role is responsible for overseeing the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely submission. The Financial Controller will manage accounting operations, including general ledger, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end and year-end closing activities. The role includes monitoring internal controls, supporting audits, and providing financial insights to leadership for decision-making and performance improvement. The Financial Controller will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Accounting and Finance, with the ability to manage core accounting functions and financial operations.
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Relevant bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA) is an advantage.
- Experience in a controller or senior accounting/finance role in a BANK IS A MUST
- Knowledge of ERP systems and advanced skills in spreadsheet and financial analysis tools.
- Strong attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work effectively on-site with cross-functional teams in Cebu.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance audiences.
