What You'll Do
- Lead the organization's financial reporting, governance, and control functions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
- Manage month-end and year-end close activities, statutory reporting, external audits, and compliance with Australian financial and taxation requirements.
- Prepare executive and Board-level financial reports, budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections, and commercial performance analysis.
- Partner with senior leaders to provide strategic business insights and recommendations that support operational performance.
- Oversee cash flow, working capital, payroll governance, rebate management, and financial risk management across the business.
- Drive continuous improvement by enhancing financial systems, reporting processes, internal controls, and automation initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance and Administration Officer while fostering a collaborative, high-performing finance team.
- Support strategic projects, business planning, and cross-functional initiatives that strengthen organizational performance.
Key Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business, or a related discipline; CPA is highly preferred.
- At least 5 years relevant experience as a Financial Controller or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards, IFRS, statutory reporting, taxation, external audits, and financial compliance.
- Proven experience preparing management reports, Board reporting, budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections, and commercial financial analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience using ERP systems; exposure to Pronto is highly regarded.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach, influence, and build strong relationships across executive and operational stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
Work setup
- Manila (BGC, Taguig): Australian business hours (6:00 AM–3:00 PM PHT); full-time onsite during probationary period of 6 months, and transition to hybrid setup of 3x onsite and 2x Work-From-Home afterwards.
