Job Description
The
Financial Analyst is primarily responsible in assisting the Head of Reporting to deliver financial performance reporting, planning and analysis in support of the
WSP Manila business, focusing on management reporting. The incumbent is expected to provide assistance in financial and analytical support to Head of Reporting and to the Manila Leadership Team to help them in making informed business decisions.
Responsibilities
Main Activities and Responsibilities: (including but not limited to
)
- Being an active and integral member of the team, participate in the preparation of management reporting, financial models, budgets, forecast and support to Group/Head Office Reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of business review presentations to the Managing Director, Financial Controller, Head of Reporting, and/or the Manila Leadership Team; Assist in providing relevant commentary on business performance and trends.
- Assist in the preparation and developing, implementing, and maintaining performance reports and models, constantly improving processes to increase efficiency and drive change within business.
- Assist in the preparation and regular review of financial statements, analyze profit margins, financial performance and position, cash flows and assist in preparation of scenario planning for various business outcomes.
- Participate in partnering and collaboration across departments in shaping financial strategy and decisions.
- Actively participate in system migration to the extent relevant to management as well as statutory reporting.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Head of Reporting/Financial Controller.
Qualifications
Qualifications (Minimum and Desirable):
- Graduate of BS Accountancy
- Preferably CPA with experience in an auditing firm
- Minimum 3-5years experience in financial planning and analysis
- Working in international and diverse environments
- Related experience in Hyperion, Oracle, Planning Analytics or any relevant financial reporting tool.
- Must have a strong presentation skill.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Collaborates effectively with others across functions.
- Must have the ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and MS Teams.
- Self-starter and stays flexible for when priorities quickly change.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently on global networked computers using current software applications.
- Strong team worker, with enthusiastic, can-do approach, with ability to coordinate and work as one team.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively as a team.
- Willing to work on a Full-Time basis in Ortigas Center, Pasig
Experience, Skills, And Organisational Knowledge
- Proficiency in financial concepts and analysis.
- Strong strategic planning abilities.
- Experience with analytics tools, Hyperion, planning analytics and BI for data analysis.
- Knowledge of project accounting principles.
- Understanding of corporate finance practices.
- Ability to create data visualizations for reporting purposes.
- Demonstrated financial acumen for decision support.
