Job Description

The role provides an excellent opportunity to be a part of a growing and dynamic professional services practice covering corporate finance support services, working with a high performing and talented team that values high quality client service in an environment that is collaborative. Services under the corporate finance team include financial modeling, valuation, financial planning and analysis, business plan formation, pitch deck presentation.

The Financial Analyst works closely with the Senior Financial Analyst, Supervisor, and assigned clients to support the full financial cycle, ranging from foundational accounting to strategic analysis. Key responsibilities include the accurate recording of transactions, performing account reconciliations, and conducting a detailed review of invoices to ensure data integrity. Building on this foundation, the Analyst is expected to aid in the preparation of budget and forecast projections, identify financial trends, and compute variances between forecast and actual results. Furthermore, the role involves preparing Excel dashboards and various reports while gaining or maintaining proficiency in local and global standards, such as US GAAP and IFRS, to ensure all financial activities remain compliant.

As part of the company and the team, it is expected for the Financial Analyst to give a helping hand with the other clients activities especially when free to the extent of his/her capacity and skills which is a manifestation of Empathy - one the company's core values.

Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable processing
  • Accounts Receivable processing
  • Inventory analysis
  • Monthly Payroll run and accounting
  • Completion of Month End journals and closing adjustments
  • Preparation and completion of monthly financial reports
  • Bank and GL Reconciliations
  • Financial audit coordination and preparation of supporting documentation for audits 
  • Actively participates during client calls
  • Identify significant risks and able to analyze and document in a technical memo
  • Able to guide and review entry level staff work
  • Drafts process documentation
  • Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications

  • With at least 1-2 years experience in the same field, Preferably with BPO companies
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/ Accountancy or equivalent
  • With CPA License is preferred
  • Experience with the Big 4 audit firms is a plus
  • Interest and exposure in accounting systems and other related applications
  • Can work under pressure and can easily refocus to attend to urgent tasks
  • Excellent communication (both oral and written in English) skills
  • Strong analytical skills
