Financial Analyst

Location: Philippines – Fully Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a Finance Analyst to support the client's regional finance operations, with a focus on financial reporting, month-end closing, management reporting, and financial analysis.

The role will work closely with finance stakeholders across multiple entities and regions to ensure financial information is accurate, timely, and useful for business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the month-end closing and financial reporting process.
• Prepare and maintain financial and management reports for regional stakeholders.
• Assist in reviewing P&L and Balance Sheet accounts and investigating variances.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities related to financial reporting.
• Perform actual vs. budget/forecast variance analysis and identify key financial drivers.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Consolidate and review financial information across multiple entities or business units.
• Investigate discrepancies and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Prepare financial analysis and reports to support management decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, reporting, and controls.
• Support other finance and reporting activities as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Experience in financial reporting and month-end closing.
• Good understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Experience with management reporting and financial analysis.
• Exposure to variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Working knowledge of AP and AR processes.
• Experience supporting multiple entities, business units, or regional operations is an advantage.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with financial systems/ERP platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
