PayChoice is one of Australia's leading payment gateways, specialising in the collection of payments for clients around Australia in industries such as Healthcare/Fitness, Childcare, Medical and many more. We are looking for experienced Lead Generation Specialists who would love to join an exciting and growing team.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting financial planning, analysis, and decision making processes within the organisation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify key drivers of financial performance and provide insights to management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial models and scenarios for decision-making purposes.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data by reconciling accounts and conducting periodic audits.
  • Provide explanations and interpretations of financial results to management and other departments as needed.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyse trends and drivers of revenue, expenses, and profitability to support strategic initiatives.
  • Generate ad-hoc reports and analyses to address specific business questions and challenges.
  • Assist in assessing financial risks and opportunities, and recommend strategies to mitigate risks and capitalise on opportunities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market developments that may impact the company's financial position.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CPA or CFA certification is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the fintech payments industry or a related field.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications; experience with ERP systems is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive mindset with a desire to learn and grow professionally.
