Key Responsibilities
- Support Finance Leaders and Business Managers in the timely preparation of monthly financial results, budgets, and forecasts.
- Prepare and complete financial reporting activities, including weekly flash reports, accruals, prepayments, reimbursements, journal entries, and month-end administration tasks.
- Review and analyze actual results against budgets and forecasts, providing commentary on variances, key business drivers, risks, and recommended actions.
- Assist in the preparation of management reports and financial analysis to support business decision-making.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
- Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Facilitate financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities across the business.
- Drive process improvement and simplification initiatives within the Finance function to improve efficiency and controls.
- Support the implementation of finance best practices, policies, and governance standards.
- Contribute to ad hoc financial projects, business analysis, cost allocations, recharge activities, and special assignments as required.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver meaningful financial insights and recommendations.
- Prepare and maintain financial models, schedules, and reporting templates.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CPA, CA, CIMA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification is preferred. Candidates currently pursuing a professional qualification are also encouraged to apply.
- 4–6 years of experience in Financial Analysis, Financial Reporting, Commercial Finance, General Accounting, or related finance functions.
- Experience working in a commercial, shared services, multinational, or cross-functional environment is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and variance analysis.
- Hands-on experience with journal entries, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations, and financial reporting activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide actionable business recommendations.
- Excellent organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using SAP or other ERP systems is highly advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across different functions.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
