Job Description

The Financial Analyst is responsible for reporting and analyzing the financial performance of various international regions. This role focuses on profitability, ensuring the accuracy of financial reports, and providing in-depth analysis to support sound management decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assists the CFO in managing budgeting and forecasting exercises, including the maintenance of a 3-year Business Plan.
  • Performance Analysis: Provides sound financial and non-financial performance commentary and analyzes variances against budget, forecast, and previous years.
  • Financial Reporting: Ensures all revenue and costs are recognized accurately and oversees timely monthly and quarterly reporting for multiple international entities.
  • Month-End Participation: Actively participates in month-end closing by ensuring correct cost allocations and proposing appropriate accruals.
  • Cost Control: Participates in cost control projects and manages General & Admin (G&A) expenditure to ensure overhead containment.
  • Working Capital Oversight: Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) for working capital to activate remedial steps when necessary.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously reviews and optimizes work processes, tools, and systems to ensure reporting reliability and productivity.

Job Profile (Skills & Experience)

  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to break down complex topics into understandable parts.
  • Significant experience in Business Analysis is preferred.
  • Preference for candidates from Multinational Companies (MNCs) with matrix reporting structures.
  • A graduate with a bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • CPA, CMA, or an equivalent international accounting qualification is required.
  • Software Skills: Experience with developing reporting tools and dashboards; familiarity with Cognos or Group ERP systems is an advantage.

  • Widely trusted and able to maintain confidential information.
  • Fluent in business English with the ability to express ideas clearly and logically to regional stakeholders.
  • Follows established procedures and uses quality assurance techniques to check accuracy.
  • Proactive in generating creative solutions and ideas for improvement without being asked.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (5 days onsite during training period)

Office Location: Ortigas, Pasig

Must be amenable to mid shift and night shift.
