FINANCIAL ANALYST

Position Summary
The Financial Analyst supports the Strategic Finance Team by managing budgets, analyzing expenses, and delivering insights that guide business decisions. This role involves month-end close support, reporting, and financial modeling, with opportunities to contribute to ad-hoc projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and adaptable, with strong Excel skills and a willingness to learn new finance tools. This is a remote role requiring flexibility to collaborate across global time zones.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Budget & Expense Management: Track, manage, and forecast expenses across G&A departments within the Accelerate organization
- Month-End Close Support: Partner with budget owners and the accounting team during the monthly close to review and reconcile data and explain budget-to-actual variances
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis to provide visibility into spend and other business performance trends
- Financial Modeling: Assist team members in building and refining financial and operating models within Pigment
- Other Projects: Support other ad-hoc projects within the Strategic Finance Team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- At least 1year of experiencein FP&A, corporate finance, accounting or a similar analytical role
- Strong proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
- Solid understanding of finance fundamentals
- Experience in financial planning and creating data-driven analysis is a strong plus
- Experience with finance tools and systems (ERPs, BI tools, SQL, Pigment, etc.) is an advantage, but not required and willing to learn
- Highly detail-oriented with a curious, analytical mindset
- Proven ability to solve problems independently and organize workload effectively
- Comfortable working with modern technology to extract, transform, and interpret data
- Flexibility to work in a shifting schedule across APAC, North American and European time zones, Monday to Friday
