Job Description

Job Summary:

The Financial Analyst will support the bank's strategic and financial decision-making processes by providing accurate, timely, and data-driven analysis. This role will be responsible for financial forecasting, budgeting, performance monitoring, and various analytical functions to ensure sound financial health and compliance with regulatory standards in the Philippine banking industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights on business performance.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies .
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with department heads.
  • Conduct variance analysis between actual results and budget, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Develop financial models and business cases to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and suggest strategies to improve profitability.
  • Assist in assessing the financial impact of new banking products, services, or partnerships.
  • Ensure financial practices comply with internal policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Provide support in audits, both internal and external, by preparing necessary documentation and data.
  • Stay updated with macroeconomic trends, industry benchmarks, and policy changes affecting the financial sector in the Philippines.
  • Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, Economics, or related field. CPA or CFA certification is an advantage.
    • At least 2-4 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
    • Proficient in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SAP, or similar).
    • Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements in the Philippines (BSP, BIR, SEC).
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • High integrity and commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
