Job Description

Primary Objective Of Position

The Financial Analyst has the primary responsibility to understand the operations of his/her respective entity; collect, analyze and interpret financial data; instigate budget preparing and conduct budget monitoring; prepare financial reports and give recommendations to the management team to improve the entity's financial performance.

Essential Functions

Financial Data Management

Coordinates with Accounting Department in collecting financial data
Ensures the accuracy of collected financial data
Increases productivity be developing automated accounting applications; coordinating information requirements
Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data
Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data
Determines cost of operations by establishing standard costs; collecting operational data
Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential

Data Analysis and Reporting

Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
Guides cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions
Improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management
Recommends actions by analyzing results and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials

Corporate Planning and Finance

In-charge of the creation and maintenance of the Financial model
Prepare presentation of any capital raising activity
Conducts and review valuation of assets and companies

REQUIREMENT

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce or equivalent
At least 1-2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
CPA/CFA Level 1 passer is a plus
Willing to be based in Makati City
Can start as soon as possible
