Role Description This full-time Financial Advisor role at Manulife Philippines is based in Davao and follows a hybrid work arrangement, combining in-office responsibilities with some work-from-home flexibility. The Financial Advisor will meet with clients to assess their financial goals, analyze current financial situations, and recommend suitable financial, insurance, and investment solutions. Daily tasks include preparing financial plans, presenting product options, monitoring client portfolios, and conducting regular reviews to ensure alignment with changing needs. The role involves educating clients on retirement planning, risk management, and wealth-building strategies, while maintaining accurate records and complying with regulatory and company standards. The Financial Advisor will collaborate with internal teams, participate in training and development programs, and contribute to business growth through ethical, client-focused advisory practices.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Financial Planning and Financial Advisory, with the ability to create tailored financial roadmaps for diverse client needs.
- Solid understanding of Finance and Investments, including risk assessment, portfolio diversification, and long-term wealth strategies.
- Experience or demonstrated capability in Retirement Planning, helping clients design sustainable and goal-oriented retirement strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to explain complex financial concepts in clear, accessible language.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to client-centric, non-discriminatory service.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment in Davao, managing time and priorities both in-office and from home.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., financial planning or investment licenses) are an advantage.
- Previous experience in financial services, banking, insurance, or advisory roles is beneficial but not strictly required for highly motivated candidates with strong potential.
