Financial Advisor

We're seeking an experienced Financial Services Paraplanner to support Australian advisers across advice preparation, compliance documentation, and strategy implementation. This role is suited to a highly experienced paraplanner with deep exposure to Australian advice frameworks and strong technical and written skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs) in line with Australian regulatory requirements
• Work closely with advisers to translate advice strategies into compliant, client-ready documentation
• Conduct product research across Australian investment platforms, superannuation, and insurance providers
• Prepare strategy modelling, projections, and comparisons using AdviserLogic
• Liaise with advisers and internal teams to support implementation of advice
• Ensure advice documents meet ASIC, AFSL, and compliance standards
• Maintain accurate records and version control across advice documents
  
  

Required Experience & Skills

• 5+ years paraplanning experience working with Australian clients
• 5+ years experience writing Statements of Advice (SOAs) independently
• Strong, hands-on experience with AdviserLogic
• Solid experience dealing with Australian insurance companies (life, TPD, trauma, income protection)
• Experience with Australian investment platforms (wrap platforms, managed accounts, ETFs, superannuation)
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple advice cases
  
  

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting holistic advice including superannuation, investments, insurance, and retirement planning
• Familiarity with Xplan, BGL, or other advice software
• Experience working with offshore teams supporting Australian advice firms
