Company Description Gorospe Financial Advisory (GFA) is the professional advisory brand of Savi and Queenie Gorospe, licensed Financial Advisors operating under Sun Life Philippines Manny Villar Unit, part of the Marie Curie Sales Team within Hyperion Tree NBO. GFA is built on Sun Life's established products, licensing framework, and training pipeline, with a personal focus on client-centered, ethical financial guidance. As a growing unit, team members have the opportunity to help shape prospecting systems, content, and client service standards alongside GFA's founding advisors. Role Description This is a full-time or part-time, remote Financial Advisor role, open to candidates across the Philippines (not limited to Metro Manila). The Financial Advisor will meet with clients to assess financial goals, analyze their current financial standing, and recommend suitable Sun Life products — including life insurance, health insurance, VUL, mutual funds, and UITFs. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and client outreach, preparing presentations, closing sales, and providing after-sales servicing and portfolio monitoring. The role also involves completing required Sun Life training (including the Insurance Commission licensing process) and collaborating with the GFA team on lead generation and client onboarding support.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain an Insurance Commission (IC) license — training and exam prep support provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and explain financial concepts clearly.
• Comfortable with a 100% commission-based compensation structure — no fixed salary or guaranteed income.
• Access to a laptop, desktop, or iPad, with basic computer literacy (email, video calls, presentations).
• Bachelor's degree preferred; background in Finance, Business, or a related field is an advantage but not required.
• Self-motivated and able to manage time independently, given the remote and part-time nature of the role.
• Demonstrated integrity and willingness to adhere to Sun Life's and the Insurance Commission's ethical standards.
• Preferred, not required: existing certifications such as CFMP, CFMS, RFP, CIS, CUSP, or CTEP are a strong plus.
