Job Purpose

Ensure accurate and timely completion of reports, accounting entries and reconciliation by specified deadlines

Work with other Finance teams to identify process improvement and report enhancement opportunities to reduce processing time

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Ensure all accounting entries are prepared accurately within the deadline for the assigned accounts
  • Prepare account reconciliation and handle resolution of reconciling items
  • Serve as point of contact of internal and/or external auditors for the assigned accounts
  • Prepare financial supporting schedules as required by stakeholders
  • Regular reviews of the balance sheets to ensure the validity of assets and liabilities, supported by back up schedules.
  • The correct application of Group policies and IFRS for all transactions posted into the GL through balance sheet review.
  • Address any questions/clarifications from stakeholders
  • Coordinate with other Finance teams about identified issues, propose solution and process improvement
  • Prepare and/or update process documentation
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the Financial Accounting Manager

Qualifications


  • Experience on financial accounting and reporting in a blue-chip multinational PLC environment.
  • Experience on managing professional teams in a multinational, shared services environment
  • Experience on building strong relationships with peers and Finance Leaders.
  • Must have experience in one of the following Cost & General Accounting, Intercompany, Fixed Assets Accounting, Treasury and Tax Accounting
  • At least 3 years experience in Finance and Accounting/ Lease Accounting/General Accounting
  • Good knowledge in using MS Excel, Hyperion Financial Management System is a plus
