Some accounting roles keep you focused on only one part of the process. This one gives you a wider view of how the numbers come together.
You may already be working in corporate accounting and want broader exposure beyond AP or AR. Or you may be in external audit and ready to move from reviewing financial records to owning the work behind them.
At Lhoopa, you'll join a lean Finance and Accounting team responsible for keeping our records accurate, our reports reliable and our documentation audit-ready as the business grows. Your work will support our mission of making homes come true for more families.
What you'll be responsible for
- Record and review financial transactions in the company's ERP system.
- Reconcile general-ledger and subsidiary-ledger accounts.
- Prepare accounting schedules for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
- Consolidate financial data across multiple entities and help ensure the completeness of group accounts.
- Assist in preparing financial and management reports, including variance and trend analysis.
- Investigate discrepancies and coordinate the necessary corrections.
- Prepare reconciliations, schedules and supporting documents for internal and external audits.
- Help strengthen accounting controls, documentation and compliance processes.
- Work with other departments to ensure financial information is complete and submitted on time.
- Recommend improvements to accounting workflows and reporting processes.
- Participate in ERP enhancements, system upgrades and automation initiatives.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in financial accounting, general-ledger accounting or external audit.
- Experience preparing or reviewing financial statements and supporting accounting schedules.
- Working knowledge of journal entries, account reconciliations, internal controls and audit requirements.
- Exposure to entity consolidation, intercompany accounting, tax compliance or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, NetSuite or another ERP system.
- Ability to investigate discrepancies and explain financial information clearly.
- Comfortable managing routine accounting work while contributing to process improvements.
- Organized, dependable and able to meet reporting deadlines in a lean team environment.
CPA is preferred but not required.
This opportunity can suit a general accountant ready for broader responsibilities or an external auditor looking to build a career in hands-on corporate accounting.
If you've worked on general-ledger reconciliations, month-end closing, financial-statement preparation or consolidation, we'd be interested in hearing what you personally handled.
