This Financial Accountant opportunity is a new role in our growing International accounting department, supporting the international . This role will have a direct hand in crafting and developing the international finance function and do so with scale and growth in mind.

The main responsibilities of a FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT include:
- Perform month-end close activities including posting of journals and monthly flux analysis under US GAAP to tight deadlines
- Perform Balance sheet reconciliations for bank, prepaids, fixed assets and other key Balance sheet accounts for Figmas international entities
- Partner closely with the US accounting team to ensure alignment with accounting processes and controls
- Participate in the rollout and enhancement of internal control frameworks and processes
- Support the development and refining of the day-to-day tasks and implementing new processes within the accounting organization
- Support global expansion initiatives, including new entity setup, systems integration, and financial onboarding.
- Build strong business partnerships with key budget owners
- Support ad-hoc activities and projects as they arise
To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:
- 3-5 years of general accounting
- Knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP
- Handled Netsuite or SAP
- Experience in statutory reporting processes
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:
- Experience working in various accounting systems (NetSuite is a plus) as well as broader systems experience such as excellent MS office skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams
- Self-starter and independent thinker with desire to work in a fast-paced scaling international organization
- You have clear and fact driven communication skills and know how to keep stakeholders informed and working towards your end goals
