Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of local or international financial accounting experience, including full-cycle accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, and reconciliations
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and IFRS and/or GAAP
- Hands-on experience preparing financial statements, journal entries, general ledger accounts, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Proficiency in accounting or ERP systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, SAP, or similar platforms
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial analysis
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and English communication skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to independently manage multiple accounting priorities and meet strict reporting deadlines
- CPA qualification is an advantage but not required
- Willing to work night shift and hybrid in Baguio or onsite in Cebu
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain general ledger and journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
- Prepare financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow)
- Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany transactions
- Work with Member Company's accounting department to reconcile and report on HOA and corporate accounts.
- Engage with key stakeholders, association board of directors and unit owners to address accounting-related inquiries
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Support onboarding of new clients, including systems setup and process alignment, as needed.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP)
- Identify and implement process improvements and internal controls
- Ensure data integrity within accounting systems
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements
- Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders
