A fast-growing global freight forwarding company is hiring a Financial Accountant.
Duties and key responsibilities
- Daily Bank Reconciliation and Monthly Credit Card Reconciliation
- Verification and booking Employee Expense Report and G&A expenses
- Fixed Assets Booking Depreciation Cashflow Projection Weekly
- Support Finance Manager to supervise Accounts Payable and Accounts receivable
- Local tax law Compliance (VAT/Corporate tax/GST/WHT) Reconciled Trial Balance with returns
- Balance Sheet Reconciliation (Prepayment, Accrual, Provisions)
- Weekly discussion with Sales team and Country Manager on AR and AP Report
- Preparation of month end and various management reports
- Assisting in Internal and External Audit Requirement
- Provide support during Budgets and other Project
- Other accounting tasks as directed by the Finance Manager
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years work experience in Accounting or Finance (Freight forwarding industry preferable.)
- International accounting experience preferred but not required
- Experience in Financial Accounting, Planning and Analysis essential
- Degree in Accountancy and preferably pursuing CPA
- Strong MS Office skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook & Accounting Software
- Ability to efficiently adapt to new software systems.
- High attention to detail
