Role Overview
We are looking for a Financial Accountant to support high-quality financial reporting within a complex, multinational environment. This role focuses on consolidated reporting, statutory accounts preparation, and technical accounting areas under international financial reporting standards.
You will work closely with finance leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial outputs, while contributing to key reporting cycles and audit processes.
Key Responsibilities
Group Consolidation & Reporting
- Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial results on a periodic basis, ensuring adherence to reporting timelines
- Support consolidation activities across multiple entities, including balance sheet adjustments, foreign exchange reconciliation, and lease accounting treatments
- Prepare supporting schedules and reconciliation reports for consolidated financial statements
- Coordinate with business units to ensure accurate and timely submission of financial data
- Provide support during external audit cycles related to consolidated reporting
Technical Accounting & IFRS Reporting
- Prepare and maintain accounting models and schedules for specific reporting areas (e.g., equity-based compensation and lease accounting)
- Support periodic reporting requirements aligned with international accounting standards
- Contribute to technical accounting projects and analysis as required by the finance team
Statutory Reporting
- Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements for subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with applicable reporting standards
- Support audit processes by preparing documentation and liaising with external auditors
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of disclosures and supporting schedules
Financial Analysis & Support
- Provide analytical support for financial reporting and accounting processes
- Assist in reviewing financial data, identifying variances, and ensuring data integrity
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within financial reporting processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional qualification
- Strong experience in financial accounting, particularly in consolidation and reporting
- Solid understanding of international financial reporting standards (IFRS)
- Experience working with complex, multi-entity structures
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in external audit or professional services environment
- Experience supporting listed company reporting or similar regulatory environments
- Exposure to technical accounting areas such as lease accounting or equity-based compensation
