Finance Transformation Consultant

Role Summary 

The Finance Transformation Consultant will support global clients in redesigning, modernizing, and optimizing finance functions through process improvement, target operating model design, and technology-led transformation. The role combines strong finance functional expertise with hands-on experience in ERP platforms such as SAP and Oracle, and tools like OneStream and Blackline. 

Key Responsibilities 

Finance Process Transformation  

• Conduct As-Is assessments across R2R, P2P, O2C, and FP&A processes  
• Identify gaps and improvement opportunities  
• Design To-Be processes aligned with best practices  

Target Operating Model (TOM) Design  

• Support TOM design across people, process, and technology  
• Enable GBS/shared services and outsourcing models  
• Define governance and service delivery frameworks  

Technology & Digital Finance  

• Functional SME in implementation of ERPs like SAP, Oracle  
• Expertise in tools like OneStream, Blackline  

Transformation Strategy  

• Develop transformation roadmaps and strategies  
• Build business cases and ROI models  
• Conduct maturity and feasibility assessments  

Delivery & Testing  

• Support lifecycle including design, build, test, deploy  
• Execute SIT, UAT, and defect resolution  
• Provide post-go-live support  

Stakeholder Management  

• Facilitate workshops and requirement sessions  
• Coordinate with global stakeholders  
• Enable reporting and governance improvements  

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of experience in Finance Transformation or EPM consulting 
• Strong knowledge of finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C, FP&A) 
• Experience with ERP like SAP, Oracle  
• Experience with tools like OneStream and Blackline  
• Understanding of financial close and controls  
• Strong analytical and communication skills 

Education

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field  
• Professional certifications preferred (CA / CPA / ACCA) 
• EPM Tools certification preferred 

Work arrangements

• Hybrid (2x/week onsite)
