We are seeking a skilled Finance Team Lead to manage Income Audit (IA) functions. This role will oversee daily revenue verification and reconciliation processes while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has strong analytical capabilities, leadership experience, and a solid understanding of revenue controls.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of Income Audit and Accounts Receivable analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Delegate tasks effectively, monitor team performance, and conduct regular coaching and feedback sessions to support professional growth.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for resolving complex billing issues, audit discrepancies, and system errors.
  • Cultivate a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and process improvement.

Income Audit & Reconciliation

  • Oversee the daily review and verification of revenue reports from all business units (Front Office, Food & Beverage, Retail).
  • Reconcile POS system data against bank deposits, general ledger entries, and Accounts Receivable postings to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and analyze revenue variances, voids, discounts, and refunds, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to internal controls.
  • Prepare and distribute accurate daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports to support management decision-making.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure all revenue and receivables processes comply with internal policies and accounting standards, including familiarity with USALI12.
  • Maintain comprehensive, audit-ready documentation and support internal and external audit requests by preparing required schedules and responding to inquiries.
  • Guarantee the timely and accurate completion of all month-end closing tasks related to revenue and receivables.

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Proactively identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies within current AR and Income Audit workflows and implement effective solutions.
  • Leverage technology to enhance reporting capabilities and reduce manual effort. Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Power BI, advanced Excel Macros, or RPA) is highly desirable.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Must be a bachelor's degree graduate in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a focus on income audit with at least 2 years in a team lead or supervisory role preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of internal controls, revenue reconciliation, and financial reporting. Advanced proficiency in Excel is required; experience with Power BI, property management systems (PMS), and accounting software is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with USALI12 and audit best practices.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
