Responsible for the supervision of the general accounting, bookkeeping and maintenance of the entire books and accounting records. This includes Sales books, Purchases books, Disbursements books, the journals and ledgers of the company.
Ensures the proper charging of expenses (location, activity and department codes) is observed.
Computes for Withholding Taxes, VAT and other tax returns. Ensures that tax deadlines are met and tax matters are handled with dispatch. Responsible in ensuring compliance of the periodic and annual requirements of governmental agencies such as Bureau of Internal Revenue, Business Bureau, Securities and Exchange Commission which may result to lesser tax assessment by the government agencies.
Prepares the complete set of Financial Statements for submission togovernment agencies such as Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Statement of Changes in Stockholders Equity, Cash Flow Statements and Notes to Financial Disclosure.
Focal point for LGU Business Bureau concerns which includes the renewal of Business Permits and Quarterly Business Tax payments.
Performs internal auditing on the financial aspect of every branch.
Counter checks that cash sales and check payments have been remitted, in accordance with bank records.
