Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- System Support & Troubleshooting
- Support enhancements and improvement items related to Oracle Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, Expenses).
- Troubleshoot and resolve transaction errors, and reporting issues.
- Document solutions and maintain a knowledge base for recurring issues.
- User Training & Documentation
- Conduct end-user training on Oracle Finance processes.
- Create and update user guides, FAQs, and process documentation.
- Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system updates.
- System Maintenance & Configuration
- Assist in system configuration
- Document and maintain configuration workbook
- Create functional specification documentation
- Reporting & Data Analysis
- Develop and modify financial reports using OTBI or FR Studio.
- Assist finance teams with ad-hoc data extracts and analysis.
- Ensure data integrity between Oracle Finance and other systems.
- Process Improvement & Compliance
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
- Support audit and compliance (SOX, GAAP, internal controls).
- Work with IT and finance teams on system enhancements and integrations.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Oracle Financial ERP (Fusion, EBS, or Cloud) – GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Mgmt.
- Basic SQL/PLSQL for data queries and troubleshooting
- Experience with financial reporting tools (OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View)
- Understanding of ERP integrations (banks, payroll, tax software)
- Knowledge of troubleshooting workflows and approval hierarchies
Functional Skills
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS)
- Experience with month-end close processes
- Ability to translate business requirements into system solutions
Soft Skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication & training abilities
- Ability to work with finance teams and IT teams
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in Oracle Finance ERP support (Fusion, EBS, or similar)
- Experience in help desk/ticketing systems (ServiceNow, JIRA) is a plus
- Oracle certifications (Oracle Financials, Cloud ERP) preferred but not required
