The role
The
Finance Supervisor role will be responsible for the financial operations of the company, making sure all financial activities are accurate, efficient, and follow proper standards. This role is important in managing reports, overseeing accounting processes, and helping management make smart financial decisions to support the company's growth.
Your Responsibilities
- Supervise daily finance and accounting tasks like accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bookkeeping.
- Make sure financial reports are accurate, on time, and compliant with accounting standards.
- Review budgets and forecasts, and monitor expenses.
- Handle month-end and year-end closing activities with the Accounting team.
- Assist management in analyzing financial data and planning company strategies.
- Work with auditors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Identify ways to improve financial systems and processes.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA license is an advantage but not required.
- At least 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of accounting software (experience with Xero is a plus).
- Detail-oriented, organized, and trustworthy.
- Able to work well with different teams and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
