Finance Supervisor (General Accounting)

The Finance Supervisor (General Accounting) is responsible for overseeing daily general accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting. This role supervises general ledger activities, including the preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments, while ensuring the smooth execution of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. The Finance Supervisor prepares financial statements and management reports, maintains the chart of accounts, and ensures proper account classification in compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies. The position also supports internal and external audits by providing required schedules, documentation, and analysis.

In addition, the Finance Supervisor ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, tax obligations, and internal control procedures, while identifying opportunities to strengthen financial processes and improve system efficiencies. The role includes supervising, mentoring, and evaluating accounting staff to ensure high performance, accuracy, and adherence to deadlines. The Finance Supervisor also supports budgeting and forecasting activities, performs financial variance analysis, and provides management with relevant financial insights to support decision-making. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, has several years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory exposure, possesses strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS, demonstrates advanced Excel and ERP proficiency, and exhibits strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
