Job Description

Responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, treasury activities, reporting, and cash management processes. The role ensures the accuracy of financial records, monitors branch fund movements, supports operational requirements through effective financial controls, and maintains compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The position works closely with branch operations and other departments to support the financial integrity and efficiency of the organization's pawnshop operations.

This position is within the pawnshop industry; therefore, familiarity with pawnshop operations, cash management, forex transactions, branch financial controls, and compliance processes is relevant to the role's responsibilities.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage daily financial transactions, cash flows, and treasury activities.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
  • Review branch cash balances, fund transfers, deposits, and other financial transactions.
  • Ensure proper implementation of financial controls, policies, and procedures across branches.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of financial records, reports, and supporting documents.
  • Assist in budget preparation, expense monitoring, and financial planning activities.
  • Coordinate with branch personnel regarding financial concerns, discrepancies, and required documentation.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary financial records and documentation during audits.
  • Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency and financial performance.
  • Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and accuracy in all financial activities.
  • Perform other finance and accounting-related duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or a related course.
  • At least 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, treasury, or related functions.
  • Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
  • Familiarity with branch financial operations, fund monitoring, internal controls, and compliance processes.
  • Knowledge of pawnshop operations, including cash handling, forex transactions, and branch financial controls.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
