Finance Lead - Shared Service Center
About the job
The Finance SSC Lead in the Philippines will oversee the project finance, accounting, accounts payable and transactional teams, playing a crucial role in the organization's financial management and strategic planning. This position requires a dynamic leader capable of managing multiple projects and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The Finance Lead will also be responsible for maintaining robust and timely accounting operations to international standards and best practice processes in accordance with service level agreements. Additionally, this role involves managing the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
Key Responsibilities:
1. Service Excellence & Stakeholder Management:
.Accountable for team performance as per SLAs and measured by monthly reported KPIs to be shared with Group and local teams.
.Member of global finance leadership team, accountable for GRC performance and process improvement
.Comfortable communicating with senior stakeholders across the group to promote transparency, trust and collaboration.
2. Project Finance:
.Deliver through the project finance lead to improve processing efficiency, accuracy and customer service
.Overall responsibility for accurate and timely financial analysis for project performance, profitability, and risk assessment.
.Collaborate Global business line leads and Group leadership to ensure identify and deliver upon process improvements and ensure compliance with financial policies.
3. Accounting Operations:
.Responsible for team's delivery of accurate and timely management accounts, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards.
.Overall responsibility for team's accuracy and timeliness month-end and yearend closing processes, including reconciliation and journal entries.
.Ensure accurate maintenance of the general ledger and all financial records.
.Manage accounting procedures and systems to ensure compliance with internal policies and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
4. Accounts Payable Management:
.Supervise the accounts payable team to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
.Suggest, implement and maintain internal controls over the accounts payable function to prevent errors and fraud.
5. Integration and Audit Support
.Responsible for driving integration timelines and project management and hypercare post transition
.Responsible for driving actions leading from audit findings reports and strive toward continual improvement
6. Team Leadership and Development:
.Lead, mentor, and develop the project finance, accounting, and accounts payable teams.
.Foster a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and collaboration within the finance department.
.Set performance objectives, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews for team members.
.Create a high achieving culture
7. Process Improvement:
.Identify opportunities for process improvement within the finance function, particularly in project finance, accounting, and accounts payable and drive these improvements through the business
.Be proactive in implementing best practices and technology solutions to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
.Develop and maintain strong relationships with the senior leadership and take responsibility to ensure adherence to robust control framework and accurate financial reporting
