Job Summary
Global Play Hub Innovations Corp. is looking for a detail-oriented
Finance Specialist (Tax & Accounting) to manage accounting operations, taxation, financial reporting, and government compliance. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, BIR regulations, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file tax returns (VAT, EWT, FWT, DST, Percentage Tax, Annual ITR).
- Ensure compliance with BIR, SEC, LGU, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and other government agencies.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Maintain the General Ledger and perform account reconciliations.
- Handle month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Process payroll tax remittances and statutory contributions.
- Support audits and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Financial Management, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Accounting and Taxation
- Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, BIR regulations, and government compliance
- Experience in preparing financial statements and managing General Ledger
- Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis, and audit support
- Familiar with payroll tax computation and statutory remittances
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
