Our brand, Lennor Metier Consulting, a DOLE-licensed headhunting and recruitment agency in the Philippines, is proud to partner with a headhunting firm in their search for a Finance Officer based in Taguig.

The role

The Finance Specialist will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of the firm's financial operations through meticulous payroll processing, tax compliance, and accounts management. This position offers an excellent entry-point for aspiring finance professionals to handle end-to-end financial documentation and BIR compliance in a fast-paced environment. It is a unique opportunity to build a solid foundation in corporate finance while directly contributing to the client's operational efficiency and regulatory standing.

Your Responsibilities

  • Payroll & Compensation: Assist in the preparation and processing of manual or automated employee payroll, ensuring all salaries, allowances, and deductions are computed with 100% accuracy.
  • Accounts Payable & Invoicing: Process company payables, verify invoices against supporting documents, and maintain organized records of vendor payment schedules.
  • Tax Computation & Monitoring: Assist in the computation of withholding taxes and other statutory obligations while ensuring all tax deductions follow current regulations.
  • BIR Filing & Compliance: Review prepared tax filings and supporting schedules before submission to ensure accuracy and completeness for BIR compliance.
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain an organized filing system for payroll, tax documents, and invoices to ensure audit-readiness at all times.
  • Audit Support: Assist in the preparation of documents required for external audits and various government submissions.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, or any related business course.
  • Open to fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1-2 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
  • Basic knowledge of Philippine tax laws (BIR compliance) and payroll processing; proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
