Job Company:

KNC Group of Companies is a franchisee of Jollibee Food Corporation and we are are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Specialist to manage and enhance our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, supporting budgeting processes, and driving continuous improvement in accounting procedures. This role requires strong attention to detail, solid technical accounting skills, and the ability to analyze and interpret financial data to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting financial data across departments.
  • Monitor and manage accruals to ensure timely and accurate recognition of expenses and liabilities.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform regular bank, account, and intercompany reconciliations to maintain integrity of financial data.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and analyze key financial drivers and variances, providing insights to management for informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to streamline accounting processes and drive operational efficiency.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to financial systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Support audits by providing necessary documentation and resolving any audit findings or discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards (such as IFRS or GAAP), and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred but not required).
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and general accounting practices.
  • Strong knowledge of accrual accounting, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Willing to work at Cubao, Quezon City with hybrid working setup.
