Role Description The Finance Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based at Amor Laut Resort in Mabini. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, and preparing regular financial reports. The Finance Specialist reviews and analyzes financial statements, supports budgeting and forecasting, and monitors cash flow and expenses to ensure alignment with resort objectives. Additional responsibilities include coordinating with operations and management to provide financial insights, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations, and supporting audits and financial controls. The role also involves communicating financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders and contributing to process improvements that enhance financial efficiency.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Finance and Accounting skills, including experience with budgeting, cost control, and basic tax concepts.
• Candidates should possess the ability to work with Financial Statements, including preparation, review, and analysis of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data, identifying trends, and supporting data-driven decisions.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly to various stakeholders.
• Relevant bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., Excel or equivalent) is beneficial.
• Experience in hospitality or resort operations finance is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work on-site in Mabini on a full-time basis.
