Finance Shared Services Specialist (Cash Management)

As FSS Specialist (Cash Management), you will ensure the timely and accurate recording of the company's cash management, balance sheet, and income statement accounts in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with the Finance Shared Services team, Treasury, General Ledger, and various internal departments to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Manage cash receipts and Money Market Placements (MMP), ensuring accurate recording, collection reconciliations, and weekly system remittances.
- Perform weekly bank reconciliations, record adjusting entries, and coordinate with Treasury and Payables to resolve unreconciled items.
- Prepare monthly lead schedules for cash management accounts, consolidate weekly cash flow inputs, and assist with related-party reconciliations.
- Support internal, external, DOE, and BIR audit requirements by preparing schedules, providing documentation, and addressing financial audit queries.
To Succeed in this Role, we need someone who:
- Demonstrates high precision and attention to detail when performing monthly book closings and account analysis.
- Possesses good interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments, leadership, and external financial institutions.
- Upholds strict confidentiality and adheres strictly to corporate governance, information security, and Integrated Management Systems policies.
- Shows proactive problem-solving ability in resolving trial balance discrepancies and supporting regulatory compliance.
What You Will Need:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy (BS Accountancy).
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in cash management and general ledger accounting.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is preferred.
Technical / Functional Skills:
- Proficiency in cash management procedures, bank reconciliation, accounting systems, and financial schedule preparation.
- Strong skills in statutory and regulatory accounting compliance (including DOE and BIR requirements), financial policy orientation, and balance sheet account analysis.
