Processing, analyzing and reporting of financial transactions and information. Assisting with budgeting processes and preparing various management reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Primary Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of team's business plan in order to maximize productivity and performance
- Ensure all processes conducted are documented in a standard format and maintained in an accessible fashion
- Contribute to the refinement of processes and procedures to improve systems and procedures
- Comply on provided legislations, industry codes, company policies and procedures
- Establish and maintain an efficient, effective relationship between Regional Finance and GSSC Finance staff, with a particular emphasis on maintaining clean reconciliations of accounts
- Ensure consistency between the result and general ledger
- Ensure effective suite of reports provided to business enabling management to monitor business profitability
- Provide technical expertise and mentoring to Finance Services Analyst and Specialist Required Education
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Required Experience
- 2 years relevant experience
Required Licenses/Certifications
- Certified Public Accountant - Preferred

- Strong skills in spreadsheets, data analysis and reconciliation procedures
- Problem solving skills
- Strong Communication Skills
Preferred Knowledge
- Fundamental knowledge of organizational accounting procedures
- Thorough understanding of best practice accounting
