About The Job
The primary role of a Senior Accounting Supervisor for Reconciliation is to supervise the bank reconciliation process.
What You'll Do
- Acts as primary point of contact for request, issues, inquiries and initiatives related to bank account reconciliation
- Implements goals/decisions through the work of the team
- Delegates responsibilities to team members
- Supervises, monitors productivity, evaluates and trains team members
- Guides the team in resolving complex issues based on existing solutions and procedures
- Solves complex/difficult problems where precedent may not exist; takes a new perspective on existing solutions
- Monitors lead time of reconciling items, ensures timely resolution of outstanding items
- Handles concerns of the team
- Builds and maintains good working relationships with key stakeholders
- Provides valuable insight to company initiatives and actively participate in meetings
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reviews and analysis of reconciliation processes using operational metrics and reports
- Supports Finance Reconciliation Manager in establishing reconciliation process for new company products
- Leads team projects/initiatives
- Use best practices & knowledge to recommend & implement effective process improvement, raise ideas for automation of reports
- Identifies and address risks within the process
- Implements internal control
- Support the preparation and consolidation of operating and capital expenditure budgets..
Industry Experience
What you need to have:
- At least 7 years of working experience in accounting role, at least 4 years of which is in a supervisory role
- Actual experience in balance sheet account reconciliation or bank reconciliation
- Experience in process improvement
- Preferably a CPA
- Experience in financial services industry, multinational/international company or shared services company is desirable
- Willing to work in Cubao
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (with actual experience in pivot, vlookup, sumif, etc)
- Knowledge or practical experience in SAP GUI

- Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal, ability to effectively communicate with counterparties & collaborate during meetings
