Role Summary
The Finance QA Analyst is responsible for performing day-to-day quality checks on finance transactions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs). The role focuses on transaction-level reviews, documentation, and error reporting to safeguard financial data integrity and support smooth service delivery within the Manila Global Service Centre (GSC).
Duties And Responsibilities
Transaction Quality Checks
- Perform QA sampling and detailed reviews of finance transactions (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, etc.) for accuracy and compliance.
- Verify that required supporting documentation is complete and accurate.
- Ensure transactions comply with company policies, internal controls, and relevant accounting standards.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Track daily/weekly QA results and maintain accurate QA logs.
- Report identified errors and inconsistencies to people leaders and process owners.
- Escalate recurring issues or potential risks to the relevant Finance Director/Tower Head.
Compliance & SLA Adherence
- Monitor that finance processes meet defined SLAs and KPIs.
- Support audits by providing QA records and validation samples.
- Assist in maintaining QA checklists, templates, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Key Metrics
- Accuracy rate of reviewed transactions
- Number of QA samples completed within SLA
- Timeliness and accuracy of error reporting
- Error recurrence rate per Tower/process
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 1-2 years experience in finance operations or shared services (AP/AR/GL).
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday, or equivalent).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured QA procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic reporting.
