Finance Operations - Senior Manager

About the Role:

The Finance Manager - Accounting Operations is responsible for leading General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Reconciliation activities for PwC Consulting Philippines. The role ensures the timely and accurate execution of month-end close processes, maintenance of financial controls, effective cash management, and compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirements.

As a key member of the Finance team, the role partners closely with Revenue & Accounts Receivable, Reporting, Statutory & Tax, and business stakeholders to ensure the integrity of financial reporting and support informed business decision-making.

Accounting Operations & Financial Close

• Lead General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Reconciliation activities.
• Manage month-end, and year-end close processes.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet accounts.
• Resolve accounting issues and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Cash Management & Controls

• Oversee vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and cash disbursements.
• Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and working capital.
• Maintain strong financial controls and governance across accounting operations.

Compliance, Audit & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with firm policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
• Support external audits and tax compliance requirements.
• Identify process risks and drive remediation and control improvements.

Reporting & Business Support

• Prepare and review management reports, financial analyses, and KPI reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and business performance reviews.
• Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead, coach, and develop team members.
• Build effective relationships with Partners, business leaders, and support teams.
• Drive collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
• Uphold PwC values, professional standards, and ethical conduct.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, CPA, CIA but not required
• Min 8 years accounting experience and at least 3 years Managerial experience
• Strong R2R, P2P, reconciliations, cash and controls background
• Good interpersonal skills and strong team player
• Must be meticulous, organized and possesses a flair for numbers
• Analytical mind and effective problem-solving skills
• Experience in managing a team of financial analysts
• Must be open to work in a hybrid work setup or report to office
• Open to work in Makati City
