The Finance Operations Senior Manager is responsible for the overall Financial operations, cash management, tax compliance & risk management. This position leads or initiates projects with the aim of streamlining accounting functions and operations.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
- Operations: Oversee Finance operations such as Financial period end close process and financial reporting, AR Billing, Inventory, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Cash forecast, OPEX reviews, Internal Control & Reporting, performance of Shared Service hub SLA, accounting policies, practices and procedures
- Financial Reporting: Calculate and issue analysis on key financial and operating metrics, statutory financial statements, management dashboards to key internal stakeholders
- Risk Management: Ensure compliance with local and national government reporting requirements and tax filing, update Finance policies, coordinate with auditors for the annual audit
- Operational Efficiency: Lead projects of both local and regional that are related to ERP system and other cross functional projects to promote process improvements
- People Management and Development: Prepare development plan for the team members to strengthen functional capability and improve work processes and efficient use of systems
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, or related course
- Must be a certified CPA
- 5 years progressive managerial work experience as Finance Manager or currently function as Finance Controller or Senior Finance Manager
- With very good experience in Tax & Treasury Operations, Audit Liaison, Statutory Reporting & Financial Period end close process
- Skilled in ERP/Computer Applications such as SAP, Microsoft AX, Google Suite, MS Office/Windows particularly with MS Excel
- CMA, CRA and CIA Certification/s is a plus
- Experience in Pharmaceutical industry is an advantage
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge on financial management, particularly understanding of the various elements of the financial statements
- Financial Evaluation techniques, Able to interpret and translate business scenarios into financial models
- Highly proficient in the use of Excel (advanced) and PowerPoint
- Strong business acumen
- With strong problem solving and decision-making abilities
- Highly driven, can work under pressure and extended work hours as needed
