Job Description

Schedule: Monday to Friday (06:00 AM-03:00 PM PHT)

We are looking for an experiencedOperations Manager to lead the Transaction Management function in the Philippines.

This role will oversee a team of 10 Transaction Management Officers and be responsible for the effective management of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Lease Administration, and other transaction-related finance and administrative functions.

The role will work closely with the Australian Finance team, business stakeholders, vendors, suppliers, bankers, and external auditors to ensure transactions are processed accurately, efficiently, and in line with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable

  • Lead the timely, accurate, and efficient processing of local and overseas invoices.
  • Oversee the verification, posting, and settlement of vendor payments for inventory and non-inventory transactions.
  • Ensure invoices are accurately processed and recorded in the AP sub-ledger.
  • Oversee monthly creditor reconciliations and follow up on outstanding reconciling items.
  • Work closely with suppliers and sourcing teams to resolve invoice and pricing discrepancies.

Accounts Receivable

  • Oversee the timely and accurate management of Accounts Receivable, particularly for the B2B business.
  • Ensure AR accounts are fully reconciled and appropriately managed.
  • Balance effective credit management with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Support the management of key credit accounts and customer-related transactions.

Lease Administration

  • Oversee the administration of lease arrangements.
  • Manage interactions with lessors relating to rental and outgoing payments.
  • Ensure lease-related transactions and reconciliations are accurately maintained.

Transaction & Finance Administration

  • Oversee corporate credit card administration.
  • Manage customer refunds and customer financing arrangements, including Afterpay, Latitude, and Zip.
  • Support intercompany transactions and related finance activities.
  • Provide administration and support for the Online Exclusives business.
  • Ensure other transactional activities are completed accurately and within required timelines.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Transaction Management team.
  • Set and manage team KPIs and performance expectations.
  • Create a collaborative, open, and high-performing team environment.
  • Provide technical guidance, training, feedback, and development opportunities to team members.
  • Work effectively across teams and locations, particularly with stakeholders in Australia.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery across the Transaction Management function.
  • Drive process and policy improvements across AP, AR, lease administration, and other transaction functions.
  • Support finance projects and business improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate process and policy documentation.
  • Look for opportunities to streamline high-volume transactional activities and improve overall operational excellence.

What We're Looking ForExperience

  • 5-10 years of experience managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
  • Proven experience leading a transaction management or finance operations team.
  • Strong hands-on experience across AP and AR, with exposure to lease administration and other high-volume finance administration functions.
  • Previous experience working with Australian corporates is essential.
  • Australian retail industry experience is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience working with ERP systems.
  • Experience in MS AX and/or Dynamics 365 is desirable.
  • Experience with Concur is desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience driving process improvements within a transaction management function.
  • Ability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating with teams across different locations.
