The Role

We are looking for a Finance Operations Associate to join our team in Alabang, Muntinlupa, Metro Manila.

This is a hands-on finance role for someone with around 2–3 years experience in accounting, bookkeeping or finance operations who has developed a good grounding in day-to-day accounting and is ready to take on broader responsibility.

You will work across invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, inventory and tax administration. The role provides broad exposure across the finance function and the opportunity to understand transactions from purchasing and inventory through to customer billing and payment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue customer invoices and reconcile customer payments
• Maintain accounts receivable records and follow up outstanding balances
• Record and reconcile supplier bills, payments and supporting documents
• Reconcile bank, credit card and other payment transactions
• Investigate unmatched transactions and reconciliation differences
• Track withholding tax and BIR Form 2307 certificates
• Assist with VAT and other routine tax administration
• Reconcile inventory records and investigate stock discrepancies
• Check transaction costs, margins, delivery costs, commissions and rebates
• Support regular finance controls, reconciliations and reporting
• Help document and improve finance processes and controls

What We're Looking For

• Around 2–3 years relevant experience in accounting, finance operations, bookkeeping or a similar role
• Practical experience with invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable and bank reconciliation
• Understanding of Philippine VAT, withholding tax and BIR Forms
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable investigating discrepancies
• Well organised and able to manage multiple transactions and priorities
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Comfortable working with accounting and operational systems such as Zoho or other accounting or ERP systems

Useful Experience

Experience in any of the following would be an advantage:

• Inventory reconciliation or stock accounting
• COGS and transaction margin checking
• Basic P&L, balance sheet or cash flow reporting
• Good Excel skills
• IT distribution, wholesale or another inventory-based business

Qualifications

A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field is preferred.

CPA qualification is not required.
