The Finance Operations Associate supports the day-to-day financial processes of the company, ensuring accurate transaction recording, timely reconciliations, and efficient coordination with internal and external stakeholders. This role plays a key part in maintaining financial integrity and supporting operational scalability.
Responsibilities
1. Transaction Processing & Monitoring
- Processing and handling cash remittances
- Review and validate daily financial transactions (e.g., collections, payouts, disbursements as applicable)
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of recorded collections and expenses
- Monitor payment flows across platforms (app, bank accounts)
2. Reconciliation
- Perform daily/weekly/monthly reconciliations on transactions handled
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
4. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare regular reports on transactions
- Maintain organized financial records and supporting documents
- Assist in month-end closing activities
6. Cross-functional Coordination
- Support and work closely with Operations and Transport teams
- Provide finance-related clarifications on transactions and disputes
- Assist in audits and compliance requirements when needed
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Working knowledge in Excel / Google Sheets (formulas, reconciliation)
- Good communication skills and ability to coordinate across teams
Preferred:
- Working knowledge in Quickbooks, Xero, SAP and other accounting software.
- 1–2 years experience in finance, accounting, or operations; highly desirable but not required
- Experience with payment systems or high-volume transactions is a plus
