Job Summary
The Finance Officer is responsible for financial planning, cash flow management, budget monitoring, and financial analysis to support management decision-making and ensure the companys financial stability and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning & Analysis
Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
Monitor budget utilization and analyze variances against actual results.
Assist in preparation of financial reports and management analysis for decision- making.
- Cash & Treasury Management
Monitor daily cash positions and ensure sufficient liquidity.
Manage cash flow forecasting and funding requirements.
Coordinate bank transactions, payments, and reconciliations.
Ensure timely processing of disbursements and collections.
- Financial Reporting & Monitoring
Prepare financial summaries, dashboards, and performance reports.
Analyze financial trends, risks, and opportunities.
Support monthly and year-end financial closing activities.
- Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure adherence to financial policies, internal controls, and approval limits.
Support compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
Assist in audit preparation and respond to audit findings.
- Coordination & Stakeholder Support
Coordinate with Accounting, HR, Operations, and external partners.
Provide financial data and analysis to management and department heads.
Support special projects and financial studies as required.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Management Accounting, or related field.
At least 24 years of experience in finance.
