Role Description The Finance Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Makati, responsible for supporting the financial health and regulatory compliance of PhilBritish Insurance. This role includes preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards and local regulations. The Finance Officer will assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring, as well as reconciling accounts and maintaining the general ledger. They will work closely with internal departments to provide financial insights, support audits, and respond to information requests from management and regulators. The role also involves recommending process improvements, maintaining proper documentation, and upholding internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance, with hands-on experience preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Effective Communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Must be a CPA.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; familiarity with insurance or financial services industry practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, high level of integrity, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
- Ability to work on-site in Makati, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
