We are seeking a
Finance Officer to lead the Finance Department of one of our business units within the region. This role is crucial in ensuring financial integrity, supporting branch operations, and driving sustainable profitability. The Finance Officer will oversee financial reporting, compliance, and risk management while guiding the team to deliver accurate, timely, and value-adding financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
Branch Finance Operations
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation and recording of all vehicle and aftersales transactions for proper revenue recognition and collection of receivables.
- Oversee daily cash counts, disbursements, and accountable forms to safeguard financial integrity.
- Manage branch expenses, CAPEX, and insurance transactions to maintain costs within budget.
- Implement and enforce finance and operational policies to strengthen internal controls.
- Coordinate with Accounting for regular inventory and asset counts.
Financial Performance Management
- Present monthly branch Financial Statements to Operations Committee (OpsCom), providing performance analyses and insights.
- Monitor and review Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring improvements in collection efficiency and reduction of past due accounts.
Risk Management & Compliance
- Validate that all transactions comply with internal parameters, LGU, BIR, and other regulatory requirements.
- Monitor applications and renewals of permits, certifications, and timely payment of taxes.
Support to Branch Operations
- Provide profitability analyses for vehicle transactions and generate financial reports to support decision-making.
- Implement process improvements and system enhancements to drive efficiency and standardization.
People Leadership
- Lead and motivate the finance team, driving engagement, productivity, and high performance.
- Foster a supportive and collaborative workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA preferred but not required).
- Minimum of 4–5 years of experience in branch finance operations, preferably in retail or automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge in financial management, retail business operations, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven skills in financial analysis, risk management, process improvement, and cost control.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven with strong business acumen.
