Job Description
The F&A team comprises multiple functions from Financials Control & Business Performance Management, Procurement, Digital Transformation, Tax, Treasury and Operations. Together, the team optimizes our global finance initiatives and enjoys being detailed-oriented while multitasking across various exciting project scopes
Responsibilities- Conducting in-depth research on critical accounting issues, market trends, and regulatory updates and performing financial, cash flow and income statement analyses to assess the impact of new accounting standards or regulations
- Provide guidance on business processes and internal controls related to accounting and regulatory changes
- Providing technical support to the finance team in relation to complex accounting issues
- Revise and maintain the group's accounting policies to align with the latest accounting standards
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating effective communication on accounting topics
- Undertake additional tasks assigned to support business needs
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business required; advanced degrees or CPA certification preferred
- At least 5 years of professional experience in accounting/technical accounting; prior audit experience is advantageous
- Strong understanding of US GAAP
- Proficient in advanced Excel and financial modeling; experience with financial instrument valuation is a plus
- Exceptional analytical, project management, presentation, and communication skills
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Fluent in written and spoken English
