Purpose Of The Role
As our Finance Manager for Philippines, you will be working closely with the management, in charge of all aspects of financial management including corporate accounting, regulatory compliance, financial management reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, taxation, cash flow management, internal controls as well as producing useful analytics, reports and insights for operational strategic business decisions.
What You'll Do
- Form close & trusting relationships with the management team and various functional leads to monitor and assess financial results, identify areas of growth potential and operating efficiency
- Drive & lead the financial planning & budgeting process, short term to long term plans and Forecast
- Carry out Performance Analysis, Variance Analysis and Reporting
- Analyze and recommend process improvements
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of various financial and management reporting and analyses
- Responsible for full statutory & regulatory compliance, especially on Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) requirements
- Review contracts/RFPs/ Pitches for commercial/Financial clauses
- Carry out analyses and provide insights to facilitate business decision making and effective business management
- Monitor Project Profitability and highlight variances with recommended actions
- Responsible for Cash flow management, ensure billing and collections and maintain healthy cash flow position of the company
- Prepare & present business and finance related insights and information in leadership meetings
- Drive change and implementation in systems & processes
- Lead, Delegate and develop the finance team
- Responsible for financial related initiatives and change management
Ideal Candidate
Bachelor Degree in accounting, finance or Professional Accountancy Qualification - CA, CPA,ACCA,
- Minimum 3+ years of commercial, Business and finance controlling experience
- Possess strong knowledge of national and international accounting standards, local statutory
compliance requirements, local taxes and project accounting
- Experience working on SAP S4 Hana will be an added advantage.
- Self-Initiative, with high level of integrity
- Able to understand the business and be a finance advisor to the business leaders
- An effective, assertive business partner and a good team player.
- Able to pay attention to details yet maintaining broad perspective view of business
- A multi-tasker under a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
