Job Description
Role Description. The Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Pasay, responsible for overseeing the museum's financial planning, budgeting, and reporting. This role manages day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, cash flow monitoring, and monthly closing activities. The Finance Manager prepares financial statements and management reports, ensures compliance with local regulations and internal policies, and coordinates audits and tax filings. The position collaborates with leaders and department heads to develop and track operational budgets, support forecasting, and analyze financial performance for strategic decision-making. The Finance Manager also implements and improves financial controls, systems, and processes to support sustainable growth and long-term financial health and supervises Accounting Officers
Financial Planning & Budgeting- Lead budgeting and financial planning.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and financial projections.
- Monitor budgets and financial performance.
- Oversee accounting operations and financial records.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports.
- Review bank reconciliations and asset records.
- Approve expenditures, payroll, taxes, and remittances.
- Ensure compliance with budgets, policies, and controls.
- Review contracts and commercial terms.
- Monitor cash position and liquidity.
- Manage banking relationships and credit facilities.
- Support fundraising and investment activities.
- Ensure compliance with BIR, SEC, PCNC, and other regulations.
- Coordinate audits and regulatory filings.
- Manage permits, registrations, and renewals.
- Present financial reports to Management and the Board.
- Liaise with auditors, banks, regulators, and donors.
- Supervise and develop finance personnel.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business management.
- Ability to manage, guide, and train a team.
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Able to work on a regular weekday schedule and remain flexible to support weekend events and other activities when required.
