The Finance Manager will oversee the company's financial planning, reporting, and compliance, ensuring strong financial controls while supporting the growth of solar project development, EPC operations, and service contracts. This is a senior role reporting to the COO, that will manage a team of Accountants and Analysts.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Philippine accounting standards and BIR regulations
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning, especially for project-based solar installations
Project & Cost Accounting
- Track project costs, margins, and profitability
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition for milestone-based and completed projects
- Monitor CAPEX and inventory
- Support pricing and financial feasibility analysis
Treasury & Cash Flow
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and fund utilization
- Oversee collections, supplier payments, and working capital requirements
- Assist in financing arrangements, loans, and credit facilities when needed
Tax, Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Manage tax filings (income tax, VAT, withholding taxes) and coordinate with external accountants
- Prepare schedules and documentation for audits and due diligence
Internal Controls & Process Improvement
- Establish and improve financial controls, policies, and procedures
- Work with operations and procurement teams to ensure cost discipline
- Support system improvements (ERP, accounting software, project tracking tools)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
- CPA preferred
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting
- Experience in project-based industries (construction, energy, infrastructure, or EPC) is a strong advantage
- Strong understanding of Philippine tax and regulatory environment
- Proficient in accounting systems and Excel; SAP experience is a plus
