Level: Department Head
We are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the financial health of the organization. The role is responsible for managing budgeting, reporting, and forecasting processes while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. The Finance Manager will provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making, optimize resource allocation, and contribute to the long-term growth of the company.
Lead the preparation of annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and long-term financial plans aligned with organizational objectives.
Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Oversee accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, internal policies, and local accounting standards (Philippine GAAP).
Prepare financial statements, management reports, and KPI dashboards for executive leadership.
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions, including cost optimization, capital expenditures, and investment evaluations.
Collaborate with department heads and operational teams to monitor budgets, control expenses, and drive profitability.
Lead and mentor finance and accounting staff to develop a high-performing and compliant finance team.
Participate in audit preparations and serve as a liaison for internal and external auditors.
Support strategic projects and business initiatives with financial modeling, scenario analysis, and risk assessments.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA preferred.
5-8 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role.
Previous experience in the hospitality industry (hotels, resorts, or restaurants) is highly advantageous.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Proficient in accounting/ERP systems and MS Excel experience with hospitality finance software is a plus.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail in financial reporting.
